Children's Classes at Iowa Branch

Classes

Chilren's classes meet Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 PM, and last 45-50 minutes. Students are taught the fundamentals of Shorinji Kempo in a friendly, cooperative, and non-competitive atmosphere. During a typical class, students will spend the majority of their time training in pairs in order to practice techniques, build healthy bodies, increase self-confidence, and create new friendship.

Cost

The cost for children's classes at Iowa Branch is $20 per month. Interested students are invited to try a free class, and parents of all students are encouraged to stay and watch.

Instruction

Classes are taught by Iowa Branch black belts including Conner Sensei and Nicholson Sensei (both Senseis have over 15 years of Shorinji Kempo training and are 1st degree black belts), and Schall Sensei and Townsend Sensei (both 2nd degree black belts with years of kempo and martial arts training).
